Wave 2 S Pushbutton Remote Control

TWO WAY TRANSMISSION with data DISPLAY

WAVE 2 S

New technological and aesthetic restyling for Wave 2. One of the novelties is the substitution of the NiMH Battery with a Li-ion polymer battery which allows an uninterrupted use of the radio remote control up to 25 hours.

New functions, like the automatic frequency change with “AFA” technology (Adaptive or Automatic Frequency Agility), a continuous monitoring from a PC with a dedicated diagnostic tool, the PIN Code option to restrict the use of the radio remote only to authorized personnel, a LED that allows to have the sight of pushbuttons in dark workplaces, under poor lighting conditions and at night, are nice assets to have.

Unlike the previous model, the new pushbutton Wave 2 S can be equipped with a graphical display.Wave2 is ideal for electric hoists, overhead cranes, conveyors, small tower cranes, etc.

This way, the diagnosis and programming tasks can be performed even without having access to the connector on the device. (ex: the RX is positioned at the top of a tall crane).

Enabling Switch

The “enabling switch” is a special component that improves safety of machinery operating in hazardous areas thanks to its design that determines if the user is conscious. This 3 position device activates a machine or a function only when it is a position 2 meaning the operator is present and vigilant. Applicable standard are: EN60947-5-1, EC60947-5-1, UL508, CSA C22.2 No.14

OPTIONALS

Remote Antenna

The flexibility of its external antenna with extension cable allows you to place it at the point of reception. This option will be of great help in overcoming any obstacles to the radio transmission between transmitter and receiver, so as to ensure maximum range and better communication in all conditions of use. The external antenna is supplied in combination with standard cables of different lengths (2.5 m - 5 m - 10 m).

Flash

Robust and effective blinking can be directly connectedspecially dedicated to the relay inside of all our units receivers.Once connected, the flashing light will turn on with the ignition and radio remain operational throughout the period of use to guarantee the communication between transmitter and receiver.

ATEX Box

Intended use in environmentswhere there is a likelihood that explosive atmospheres caused by gases, vapors, mists or mixtures of air and dust; protection system potentially explosive gas and dust. The unit remains powered and operational in zones 1, 2 (G) and 21, 22 (D);Housing explosion-proof, temperature class 85 ° C; Totally protected against dust and powerful water jets (IP66) box set up with a cable gland 1 "IOS7/1RC and ¾" IOS7/1RC barrier for armored cables with specifications: Ex ATEX Exd ll2GD The C IP 66, Range 70 m without obstacles.

Configuring Multi-Receiver and/or Multi-transmitter

The system MTRS allows each receiver to be able to recognize a maximum of 4 transmitters (series of receivers L and M) and 8 transmitters (series of receivers H), with which to operate one at a time, and each transmitter to operate with a up to 16 receivers simultaneously.

It 'also possible, by the function of LOG-LOG-ON and OFF to trade receiver while maintaining control and security. This allows the sharing of equipment by multiple operators.

Start Under Control

With this option, you can activate only if you point the remote control toward the trasmittemte 'additional receiver units called iREADY.The transmission of the start signal takes place by means of an infrared beam in combination with the normal radio signal, in fact the transmitter with option iReady is equipped with two LEDs for infrared transmission.

This obliges the 'operator to perform the start at a certain distance and position relative to the machine, to avoid inadvertent and unwanted goodwill.Once you start, the normal commands work on radio.
